Who we are
This website and the StoryBrick service are operated by Mantas Snieckus (the seller, “we”, “us”). Mantas Snieckus is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy and decides how and why it is processed.
Information we collect
We collect the email address and optional display name you provide when creating an account, the product details you submit to the generator (product name, features, target customer and tone), the listings generated for you, usage and quota records, and technical data such as IP address and device/browser identifiers needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use your information and legal basis
Your data is used to operate the service: authenticating you, generating listings, storing your history, enforcing plan quotas, managing subscriptions and sending service emails such as usage notifications. We process this data to perform our contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), based on our legitimate interests in securing and improving the service (Art. 6(1)(f)), to comply with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)), and, where you have opted in, on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time. We do not sell your personal data.
AI processing
Product details you submit are sent to our AI provider solely to generate your listing. We do not use your content to train models.
Data storage and security
Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with row-level access controls so each account can only read its own listings, usage and subscription records. Administrative access is limited to staff with an explicit admin role. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls. Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.
Payments
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders; Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. When you purchase a plan, your payment and billing details are collected and processed by Paddle as an independent recipient for payment processing, tax compliance and invoicing. Card details never reach our servers; we store only the subscription status, plan and renewal date required to grant access.
Data retention and your rights
You can delete individual listings at any time from your dashboard, and you can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting support. Data is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed for the purposes above. Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or port your data, to object to processing, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority; we respond within one month.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your language choice. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.
